Introduction

Good Morning, Patriots!

I wanted to introduce myself to you, and my new blog for our State page. My name is Stephen King. I am a member of the III% United Patriots of Indiana, and I live in Marion County, which is 7th Regiment. I am a Major by rank, acting as the XO (Executive Officer) of the 2nd Division, under the supervision of our division CO (Commanding Officer) Jayson Davis. I am also an Ordained Minister, acting as the current State Chaplain.

The purpose of this blog is to keep in touch with my brothers and sisters of the 3UPI and give you a place to come and find an oasis in a world filled with hate, fear, politics, terrorism, etc. I am not here to "force religion" on anyone. My hope is that all of our members have an ongoing relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. For any that do not, or are not interested in that aspect of your personal lives, I will respect your standing on the subject. However, for any and all here who do believe in, and embrace Christianity, I am happy to do what I can to be an encourager, a confidant, a shoulder to lean on, and always a brother and a friend.

For any of you who would like to get in touch with me privately, I do have a secure email address available, and I encourage you to feel free to write me anytime, about anything. Anything that we discuss will always be kept private, on both a personal and a legal standpoint. Information exchanged is protected by Law as privileged communication.

I will be posting things as they come to mind, and will be happy to address things here publicly as necessary as they pertain to the group as a whole and our mission statement. Just so you know where I stand, here is what I want you to know about me:

I am a sinner saved by Grace. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins on the Cross, and that my faith in, and acceptance of that ransom paid for my sins, and the pubic declaration thereof, has transformed me into a Born Again Son of God, a New Creation in spirit, though never perfected in this flesh. I still make mistakes daily, and I still beg for God to clean me, transform me, and make me into a better man.

I am also an American Citizen by birth, and love my country. I firmly believe that our country was founded by good, moral, Christian men who, though imperfect, were able to work together to write what is, in my personal opinion, the most perfect written documents in existence, second only to the Bible itself. The Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights are the cornerstone of our country and our culture, and I live by the simple sanctity of those documents. I support what they mandate: less big government, more State's rights, less taxation, strong defenses, representation of the people. I believe that there is an inherent sanctity in life itself, and I believe that life begins at the moment of conception, and I believe that we need to defend those innocents that cannot defend themselves. I believe that, though our Forefathers purposefully did not establish a State religion, per se, I do believe that there was an understood morality of the day that they all accepted as normal, and I believe that they never intended some of the many perversions to basic human morality that we see so rampant in the world today.

I will close for now, and hope that you each feel that you know me a little better. I am a good listener, and hope that I can be of assistance to any of you that seeks emotional, spiritual, or practical help or advice. Sometimes, we just need an empathetic ear, without judgement, and I hope I will be the one you think of when you just need to talk.

God Bless you all, each and every one, and:
God Bless America!
Stephen King
